Here a some of the props I have began to collect for my front cover shoot. The parasols will be uses to create an summery/theatrical feel to the magazine. The flute is in keeping with the instruments traditionally associated with folk music.
It is my intention to have an array of instruments in the image; flute, tambourine, acoustic guitar. The parasol will break this 'band image' and add a fun quirkyness.
